His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the exiled religious and temporal leader of Tibet and winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize, is recognised internationally as a spiritual leader and statesman.

Buddhist Life.
Her interest in Buddhism was sparked by Roshi Soko Morinaga
and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She is Editor of The Middle Way, the Quarterly
Journal of The Buddhist Society, a UK charity founded in 1924 which first
brought Buddhism to the west. She organised and filmed the last visit of His
Holiness the Dalai Lama to the House of Lords.
