Formally a rave and club DJ, DJ DB, DB Burkeman is often credited and (sometimes blamed) with bringing the subgenre of Jungle to the US. He first released drum & bass records and compilations for the label Sm:)e Communications before opening Breakbeat Science, which became ground zero for the scene. Now retired from nightlife, he’s making some noise in art & publishing by producing books on art, music and coutureculture under his full name.
Rich Browd is an artist – executive creative director and designer. His work lives in a unique place, somewhere between his urban influences and his design training with the International Type Center (ITC).
