Giles Taylor is an actor who has appeared at the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company and at numerous regional theatres, as well as on television. He is also a Shakespeare Consultant, working on productions across the country and running workshops for both actors and directors. Giles has a degree in Classics from Bristol University.
Philip Wilson is a freelance director who has worked at theatres including Birmingham Rep, The Bush, Chichester Minerva, Liverpool Playhouse, Sheffield Crucible and the Traverse. He is also the former Artistic Director of Salisbury Playhouse (2007-11), and was the Performance Consultant for Shakespeare in Love. Philip has a degree in Modern History from Oxford University.
PHILIP PULLMAN has won many awards for his children’s books, including the Carnegie Medal, the Guardian Children’s Book Award, the Smarties Prize, the Whitbread Book of the Year Award and a CBE. A two-part dramatisation of his
acclaimed fantasy trilogy, His Dark Materials, written by Nicholas Wright, premiered at the National Theatre in 2003.
