Lama Karma Thinley Rinpoche, born in 1931, is an important master of the Sakya and Kagyu traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Over the last fifty years Rinpoche has founded centres and taught extensively in Canada, the USA, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. He has hundreds of devoted students, both Tibetan and Western, and is also highly regarded as a poet and artist. Rinpoche divides his time between his monastery Tegchen Legshay Ling in Boudhanath, Nepal and Toronto, Canada.
Lama Jampa Thaye (born in England in 1952) is a scholar and meditation master trained in the Sakya and Kagyu traditions of Buddhism by HH Sakya Trizin, Karma Thinley Rinpoche and other eminent Tibetan masters. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester for his work on Tibetan religious history. He lives in London with his family and maintains a busy annual program of teachings for Dechen and other international Buddhist organisations.
