NubeOcho is a Madrid-based publishing house specializing in children's picture books that promote values, equality and diversity. Our objective is to help children overcome certain issues that they face as they grow up—issues like fear, exclusion, isolation, tolerance, competitiveness, anger, and curiosity.
All our books are tested by psychologists, teachers, and specialists. Our illustrators have received important acknowledgements like the Bologna Fair Award, the White Raven, the Moonbeam Children's Book Award, the Independent Publisher Book Award, the International Latino Book Award, and the prestigious Illustrators Award given by the Spanish government.
NubeOcho means Cloud-8, because we try to be there, one step before Cloud-9. Even though we are still a relatively young publishing house, we were invited to the Bologna Book Fair as guests with our own stand.
We are thrilled to finally have our books in English, with the Spanish versions also available. We are looking forward to offering our “different books” to American kids and the public at large.
