Tilted Axis Press is an independent publisher of contemporary literature by the Global Majority, translated into or written in a variety of Englishes. Founded in 2015, our practice is an ongoing exploration into alternatives—to the hierarchisation of certain languages and forms of translation, and the monoculture of globalisation. We focus on contemporary translated fiction and also publish poetry and non-fiction.
