Mosè Ricci–emeritus of Italian Republic for Art and Culture since 2003–is Full Professor of Urbanism and of Architectural Design at the University of Trento (since 2016). Fulbright Scholar and visiting professor at Harvard Graduate School of Design (1997).
Visiting Professor at: UM Lisboa (2006-7), TU Munich (2008-9), IAAC, BCN (2015) and MAUD Athens, (2018). Among his books: Custom Made (ListLab, 2021), Habitat 5.0 (Skira, 2019), New Paradigms (List, 2012), UniverCity (List 2010), RISCHIOPAESAGGIO (Meltemi, 2003). His projects have got prizes in several international competitions and participated in the Venice Biennale in 1996, in 2012 and in 2021. Member of the International Jury of the XX Biennal of Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Chile (2017) and of the Montenegro Pavillon for the Venice Biennale 2018. Since 2020 he is Member of the Advisory Board of the Italian Pavilion of the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale. Since 2021 he is Member of the editorial board of the A class journal class Abitare la Terra. In the period 2019-2022 he is scientific coordinator of the MedWays awarded research project for the Centro Linceo Interdisciplinare Beniamino Segre of the Accademia dei Lincei. Since 2021 he has been nominated coordinator of the Planning cv of the Doctorate Course in Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture of the Sapienza University of Rome.
Sara Favargiotti–Ph.D., architect, and guitarist–is Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Trento (since 2020). She is specialized in landscape urbanism and ecological design with a specific focus on emerging infrastructures and their influence on cities, landscapes, and territories. Her research and teaching focus on contemporary landscapes with a design approach based on transformation through adaptation and innovation. M.Arch in Architecture at the University of Genoa (2009) and Ph.D. in Architectural, Landscape and Urban Design at IUAV (2014), she has been Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Trento (2017-2019). She has been visiting scholar at the Observatori de la Urbanizació of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2013), at the Leibniz Universität Hannover (2015), and at the Office for Urbanization, Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2016). Since 2018 she is a member of the Directive Board of IASLA, Italian Academic Society of Landscape Architecture (IASLA). She is coordinator or responsible of local team for: “Branding4Resilience – Tourist infrastructure as a tool to enhance small villages by drawing resilient communities and new open habitats” (PRIN 2017, Young Line, 2020-2023); EIT Food-KIC “HelpFood 4.0 – Food Ecosystem Scalability. Assessing digital and cultural potential of Food Hubs towards sustainable local food systems” (2022); “SATURN. System and sustainable Approach to virTuous interaction of Urban and Rural LaNdscapes” (2018-2021); “Trento Urban Transformation”, scientific research to support the review of Trento Urban Plan (2016-2021). She is author of numerous essays internationally published and of the book Airport On-hold. Towards Resilient Infrastructures (Trento: LISt Lab, 2016), as well as co-author with Charles Waldheim of the book Airfield Manual: A Field Guide to the Transformation of Abandoned Airports (Cambridge: Harvard Graduate School of Design, 2017).
