The photographer was artist in residence at Light Work, Syracuse, N.Y. in 2006, »Curator's Choice« at the Houston Center of Photography Membership Exhibition and among the Top 50 Photographers chosen by Critical Mass (Photolucida). Lisa M. Robinson's picture cycle Snowbound was presented in 2006 at several institutions in the USA and Europe. Recently she has received the Mark Strand, born 1934, is a poet, essayist, and translator. In 1981, Strand was elected a member of The American Academy of Arts and Letters. He served as Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress during the 1990-1991 term. Strand has received numerous awards including a MacArthur Fellowship in 1987 and the Pulitzer Prize in 1999. Curated and organised over 100 exhibitions in Europe and the USA, many for the Fotografie Forum international in Frankfurt, Germany, where she has been chief curator since 1992. Mark Strand (April 11, 1934 - November 29, 2014) was born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and was raised and educated in the United States. He was the author of numerous books of poetry, a book of stories, several volumes of translations, a number of anthologies, and two monographs on contemporary artists. He received many honors and grants, including the MacArthur Fellowship, and in 1990 he was chosen as Poet Laureate of the United States. In 1999 he received a Pulitzer Prize for Blizzard of One.
